Along with Karen Hedrick, Michael co - founded Border College of Natural Therapies in 2004, and is the Managing Director, responsible for the operations and organisation of the College.

Michael commenced Bowen Therapy training in 1994 and has been a soft tissue therapist since 1995. He is also a qualified Myotherapist and has operated as a clinician since 1997. He specialises in Remedial and Sports Techniques servicing a wide range of clientele. He is also a trainer of and an assessor for the Diploma of Remedial Massage and Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy). Michael has been a Bowtech Instructor since 1999 and has played a leading role in the National Accreditation of Bowen Therapy training.

Michael believes that his ongoing practice as a Myotherapist and Bowen Practitioner benefits students through the knowledge gained by his continued experience, and gives him credibility as a trainer and assessor.

Karen Hedrick co-founded the Border College of Natural Therapies with Michael Quinlivan in 2004,
 and is the Administrator of the College.

Karen commenced Bowen Therapy training in 1998. She is a qualified Bowen and Therapeutic Massage
practitioner, operating as a clinician since 2000. Specialising in Bowen Therapy and offering a range of
natural therapies including iridology, herbal and homeopathic supplements, ear candling and massage,
she treats a variety of clientele.

Karen has been a Bowtech Instructor since 2000 and along with Michael has played a vital role in the
National Accreditation of the Bowen Therapy training. She is also a trainer and assessor in Certificate IV
in Massage.

Karen has 27 years of teaching experience, in secondary schools, TAFE and university, which provides
a strong foundation and skills necessary to deliver training effectively.
