Hi everyone! My name is Anneliese, but I am commonly known as Anne. I was born in Germany and came to Australia with my parents and brother when I was 11 months old.

I started my career in Bowen in 1998, whilst doing a Massage course. Our Instructor (also the owner of the school) kept telling us that we have to do this and that and then some with stretching which might take us 10 minutes, but 2 Bowen moves will do the same thing. Well, we were intrigued. What is this “Bowen”?

He told us that there was a course starting in June 1998 and since then, I haven’t looked back! I ended up becoming a Remedial Massage Therapist, Work Cover Qualified, an Aromatherapist, did my Reiki to level 2 and, of course, a Bowen Therapist.

It didn’t take long for my work to gravitate to this “new” technique. My clients found that they healed quickly and it lasted, they didn’t have to come back for more treatment! Wow, this was good stuff! Bowen Therapy now takes up 99% of my work load. I still have a few massage devotees.

In the past, I worked as a Clerk, Girl Friday (that was interesting!) Data Processor, Kindergarten Assistant (kids are great!), Massage Instructor, Aromatherapy Instructor and now proudly a Bowen Instructor and Therapist! My greatest thrill was to teach this wonderful Technique in Germany, IN GERMAN! Now that was a challenge!

I was also a Brownie Leader, Sunday school teacher, Basketball Coach and Referee, served on numerous Committees and had a few part-time jobs while at home with my children.
