Trainers & ClassesIan Dixon (ACT)    May 19, 2012

Ian practices and teaches the Bowen technique at his Canberra Bowenwork Clinic and Training Centre situated in pleasant rural surroundings in the centre of an 800 acre farm, only 5 minutes from the busy Canberra centers of Manuka, Kingston, and Woden.

He has been involved in adult education in one way or another throughout his life. First as an instructor in the Royal Australian Medical Corps School of Army Health; then with farmers as a beef industry advisor with the NSW Department of Agriculture. He has taught courses at TAFE and presented lectures at university and scientific conferences.

In mid life Ian became interested in complementary health and became a full time remedial massage therapist, and then discovered and fell in love with the amazing Bowen Technique. After a short time, the incredible results that Bowen achieved in his clients encouraged him to change over completely to Bowen therapy in his practice.

Ian became an instructor so that he could spread the word about the technique as widely as possible. "I look forward to the day when everybody knows what the Bowen technique can do to restore and maintain health in the community."
