Rita started Bowen in 1996.
Having nursed her father who had 3 strokes in his life and was bed-ridden for 9 years before passing & her mum died from pancreatic cancer, Rita has a keen interest in attaining optimal health through natural means.
Her mission is to provide the best health care services to individuals so that they are empowered to take control of their own health through proper nutrition, exercises and continual self-education. One of Rita's goals is to teach this wonderful original Bowen Technique to developing countries & the Chinese speaking community around the world.
Prior to Bowen Therapy, Rita was a Special Education Teacher from Hong Kong, teaching emotionally disturbed children. She specialized in autism. After migrating to Australia in 1983, she stayed home to raise her 2 beautiful children then back to university and became an IT specialist. During that profession period, she became an iridologist, a cosmic qigong practitioner, learned about Cellular Nutrition and met Bowen. The rest is history.
